FIFA releases 2024 legal handbook

GENEVA, Sept. 23 (Xinhua) — FIFA on Monday published the 2024 edition of the Legal Manual, which includes the latest regulations, statutory documents and circulars aimed at providing legal support to the football community around the world.

Football’s world governing body has published the Laws Manual every year since the first edition in 2020. The new version includes the latest changes and amendments to all laws and regulations applicable to football organisations and matches.

Among other important documents, the 2024 edition of the Legal Manual includes updated versions of the FIFA Statutes, regulations on the status and transfer of players, and a regulatory framework for female players and coaches.
