US investigates SAP, Carahsoft for potential price fixing

German software maker SAP SE, product distributor Carahsoft Technology Corp. and other companies are being investigated by U.S. officials for a potential conspiracy to overpay government agencies spanning a decade.

Since at least 2022, Justice Department lawyers have been investigating whether SAP — a giant maker of accounting, human resources, supply chain and other business software used around the world — illegally conspired with Carahsoft to fix sales prices for the U.S. military and other parts of the government, according to federal court documents filed in Baltimore.
