The company currently has a portfolio of 452 properties across the United States, with a larger concentration in the Sunbelt region, where 38% of the company’s properties are located in Florida, 12% in Arizona, and 8% in California. Equity Lifestyle aims to own properties in attractive retirement destinations, as more than 70% of the company’s properties have age restrictions or the average resident age is over 55.
