Tia Mowry Stages ‘Sister, Sister’ Reunion for Lifetime Holiday Movie

Tia Mowry returns to Lifetime to continue her string of holiday comedy movies, and the star will be joined by a familiar face.

Mowry will executive produce and star A very cheerful beauty salonwhich will premiere on the channel later this year. RonReaco Lee, Donna Biscoe, Cocoa Brown and Ashli ​​Auguillard round out the cast of the film, which is the final project of Mowry’s three-film deal with Lifetime. A very cheerful beauty salon centers on Sienna (Mowry), an Atlanta beauty salon owner, who is preparing for the annual Tinsel Ball, where she will be honored for her charitable efforts. At the same time, charming CEO Lawrence (Lee) enters her life when the family wine brand co-sponsors the prom, but Sienna’s mother (Biscoe) does not appreciate the fact that Lawrence is changing the traditions of this historic event.

She became famous for her comedy series alongside her twin sister Tamera Mowry Sister, sisterin which Lee regularly appeared as Tia’s boyfriend, Tyreke. The series ended in 1999 after six seasons.
