Launched under ISF’s flagship initiative ‘IndiaXports’, the program was announced by Minister of State for MSMEs Shobha Karandlaje at the Business Beyond Borders 2024 conference in the presence of SMEs and industry leaders.

In a statement, the NGO said the innovative ‘Start Exporting in Eight Weeks’ program aims to enable Indian SMEs to access global markets and increase exports in just eight weeks. It will offer free comprehensive guidance, resources and networking opportunities to small and medium-sized enterprises looking to explore international market opportunities and expand their reach.

Speaking on the occasion of the launch of the program, Karandlaje said, “Multinational and medium-sized enterprises play a key role in realizing the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047 and their success is essential in our nation’s journey towards becoming a developed and self-reliant India. In today’s highly competitive world, landscape, skills and upskilling are crucial and it is extremely important that our products meet international export quality standards.”

“Through platforms like the India SME Forum along with partners like Amazon, UPS, etc., and the new initiative launched today, our entrepreneurs will be connected to global markets, opening up new opportunities for growth and collaboration. Let us make the most of these opportunities and continue to strive for global excellence,” she said.

By leveraging digital platforms, small and medium-sized enterprises can bypass many of the logistical challenges associated with traditional exports, making global trade more accessible than ever before.”

The ‘Start Exporting in Eight Weeks’ initiative is a movement to transform Indian small and medium enterprises into a global trading powerhouse.

“By equipping them with the necessary tools, knowledge and access to the international market, we are enabling these enterprises to become self-sufficient, globally competitive and make significant contributions to India’s economic growth. We believe that with the right support, Indian SMEs have the potential to compete with the best in the world,” he added.
