How ‘Batman Part II’ will connect with Max’s ‘Penguin’

Batman (2022) is a fresh take on the DC vigilante hero, focusing on the grittier side of Batman and Gotham City. It contained Robert Pattinson as the title character in one of his most brooding performances ever, and Zoë Kravitz as Selina Kyle (aka Catwoman).

The film was a great success at the box office, and its sequel, Batman Part IIhas been confirmed as of April 2022. Here’s what we know Part IIincluding which actors will return and when the film will be released in theaters.

Will there be a sequel? Batman?

Yes! Continuation of the game from 2022 Batman is in the works and was confirmed at ComicCon the same year the original was released. A release date has since been announced.

What is a release date for? Batman Part II?

Batman Part II originally premiered on October 3, 2025. However, in a March 2024 update, it was revealed that the release would be delayed by about a year, with the new release date being October 2, 2026. The delay is not that unusual considering how many Hollywood projects have been affected in the same way or were canceled altogether as a result of the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes.

IMDB lists the film’s status as “pre-production” and once the script is completed, filming will not begin until 2025.

We don’t know much about the plot Batman Part II; however, we do know that Robert Pattinson will return to his main role as Batman/Bruce Wayne. He was the first confirmed cast member for the sequel, so fans don’t have to worry. Pattinson and his chiseled jaw will be seen again in a bat suit.

Will Zoë Kravitz be in attendance? Batman Part II?

It has not yet been confirmed whether Zoë Kravitz will reprise her role as Selina Kyle/Catwoman. While this is very likely, the sequel could take a new direction and bring new interest to Pattinson’s Batman.
