OnePlus 13 will debut in October and we may already know its Indian price, camera, processor and other details

As revealed by OnePlus China CEO Louis Lee, OnePlus caused a stir in the tech world by confirming that the OnePlus 13 will be launched in China in October. But that’s not the end of the emotions. Lee dropped more hints, revealing that the flagship smartphone will feature the “latest generation of flagship chips.” This hints at the possibility of the OnePlus 13 being powered by the much-awaited Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset, which could make the device stand out in terms of performance.

We don’t have a launch date for the OnePlus 13 yet. However, there have been several leaks around the phone that have hinted at the possible price, chipset, camera, and other details about the phone. Here’s everything we know about the phone so far.

One of the main attractions of the OnePlus 13 will be its focus on gaming, and Lee claims that it will offer the industry’s first “Genshin Impact” gaming experience at 120 frames per second. With this ultra-fast frame rate and the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset under the hood, you can expect impressive performance from the phone.

OnePlus 13 design and display leaks

In terms of design, recent leaks suggest that the OnePlus 13 will feature a fresh look with a redesigned camera island, which will be a departure from the camera design seen on the OnePlus 12 and its predecessor. The new design is expected to give the OnePlus 13 a distinctive aesthetic, although no official images have been released yet.

In terms of display, the OnePlus 13 will likely retain the 2K resolution screen that has become a staple of OnePlus flagship devices. However, a noteworthy new feature may be the ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, which provides faster and more secure unlocking compared to optical sensors typically found in smartphones.

OnePlus 13 RAM and performance leaks

Under the hood, there are rumors that OnePlus may push the envelope with 24GB RAM, which will be a huge leap in mobile performance, especially for compute-intensive tasks like AI apps and games. This large memory capacity would also enhance multitasking capabilities, allowing users to seamlessly switch between applications without experiencing any slowdowns.

OnePlus 13 camera leaks

The camera setup on the OnePlus 13 is expected to get a major upgrade, led by the periscope camera sensor. While specific details remain under wraps, the device is likely to use the same image processing algorithm as the upcoming Oppo Find X8 series. Combined with OnePlus’ long-standing partnership with Hasselblad, the OnePlus 13 could become a serious competitor in smartphone photography.

Reports indicate that OnePlus 13 will be equipped with a 50-megapixel main camera with a Sony LYT-808 sensor and f/1.6 aperture. It will also feature a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, providing versatility for photography enthusiasts.

OnePlus 13 battery leak

Another recent report states that the upcoming OnePlus 13 is likely to feature a massive 6,000mAh battery. The leak also points to its impressive charging capabilities, suggesting that the device will support 100W wired charging and 50W fast wireless charging. These features would mean significant improvements in battery performance and charging speeds, ensuring users can quickly charge their devices and enjoy a long-lasting use all day long.

If this rumor turns out to be true, the OnePlus 13 may appeal to users who prioritize fast charging and extended battery life.

OnePlus 13 expected prices in India

As for pricing, OnePlus hasn’t released any official information yet. However, the OnePlus 12 was launched in India at Rs 64,999 and the OnePlus 13 is expected to be priced similarly, although the new features may increase the price slightly. While the phone is expected to launch in China first, users in India can expect it to arrive soon thereafter, continuing OnePlus’ tradition of introducing more models to different markets. However, please note that many of these details are based on rumors and leaks, with no official confirmation from OnePlus.
