The Christian Center’s new executive director, Steve Richardson, has arrived

The Christian Center of Park City’s board of directors announced Tuesday that new executive director Steve Richardson has arrived.

Richardson will be the board’s third executive director since its inception in 2000. He has more than 24 years of leadership experience, including in a management position, according to the center. His educational experience includes a PhD and two master’s degrees.

“Steve’s passion for inspiring people to thrive, in addition to his past experience and leadership skills, all fit very well with our mission at CCPC and prepared him for this role. We are thrilled to welcome him on board.” said Doug Schillinger, head of CCPC’s search committee and board member.

Richardson succeeds Rob Harter, who faithfully served as CCPC’s executive director for nearly 14 years. Under Harter, the center has grown to include two campuses, four stores and a growing counseling and wellness center.

“Throughout his tenure, Rob has embodied our mission at CCPC to meet people in need as an expression of God’s love. Through her tireless and selfless leadership, CCPC has touched the lives of countless people in our community,” said Board Chair Susan Swartz.

The center said in a news release that with Richardson’s arrival, Harter will focus his efforts on serving on the center’s board of directors and expanding the center’s counseling and wellness offerings. Susan Swartz will continue to serve as chairwoman of the center’s board of directors.

The center will also host several open houses where people can meet Richardson on the Park City campus. These dates are November 7, 12 and 21. More information on this subject will be available soon, the center said.
