B&M shoppers will be kept warm from head to toe with its new £12 ‘cozy’ deal

B&M shoppers are flocking to stores to get their hands on winter warming goodies, which should prove to be a godsend ahead of the chilly winter months. It comes as Britons face rising household bills.

From today (October 1), the UK energy regulator Ofgem has introduced a new energy price cap for the period October to December. It has been announced that the average household energy bill will increase by £149 from October, but for households already struggling to make ends meet, this additional expense will not be welcome news.

A cap that limits the amount energy suppliers can charge for each unit of energy and fixed fee. It will be reviewed again before the New Year, and the changes will take effect on January 1, 2025.

As a result, almost half of British adults (46%) say they are likely to ration their energy use this winter. People are willing to use less than they should to maintain comfort and well-being, according to research by the charity National Energy Action (NEA) and YouGov.

In an attempt to avoid paying for central heating, people are turning to alternative ways to avoid the winter freeze that is expected to arrive later this month. B&M has a range of new items that will cover you from head to toe and keep you ‘warm and cozy’ without having to turn on the heating.

In an Instagram post, B&M shoppers were shown a range of different personal heating devices. Each one targeted a different part of the body – providing direct warmth and comfort to areas such as the feet, hands, neck and back.

In the post, a B&M spokesperson wrote: “Everything I could ever need and more! Cozy season, we are ready for you!”

The photos showed a wide range of products, with prices starting from £12 and going up to £20. Several customers vouched for those they had already purchased, while others were already planning their next trip to B&M.

The biggest hit seemed to be the Restore Massaging Foot Warmer for £20. One shopper said: “This will be amazing when it gets even colder outside!”

Another added: “Warms and massages?! Take my money!” A third, tagging her friends, wrote: ‘Let’s go B&M hunting! They will be perfect for our cold fingers!”

Shoppers can also pick up a £20 pair of heated slippers from Naeo at B&M. The brand has also covered other body parts, quite literally, with a £12 neckband and eye mask, as well as a soothing £12 heated pad that you can “cuddle with anywhere”.

Some buyers find uses for thermal products even when away from home and while traveling. One fan said: “Calling all soccer moms!”

Another wrote: “I won’t lie, I would definitely wear most of these to work because I’m always cold!” Others with the same idea called these items “office essentials.”

You can find your local B&M store online using our website finder. B&M does not allow customers to check stock online, meaning they will have to try their luck by visiting their local store or calling them and asking if it will save them a long journey.
