Ingersoll Rand is making acquisitions in the US, Italy and India

Pump manufacturer Ingersoll Rand has acquired Air Power Systems Co., Blutek srl and UT Pumps & Systems for a total consideration of $135 million, with deals in the U.S., Italy and India, respectively.

Davidson, North Carolina-based Ingersoll Rand, said the acquisitions expand the company’s product lineup, expand its geographic presence and introduce new pump technology and capabilities to its customers. The companies add more than $50 million in net revenue.

“These acquisitions demonstrate that our successful bolt-on acquisition plan, combined with the strength of Ingersoll Rand Execution Excellence (IRX), will continue to deliver value to both customers and shareholders,” said Ingersoll Rand President and CEO Vicente Reynal in the October issue 1 press release.

Headquartered in Tulsa, OK, APSCO offers hydraulic and pneumatic products and engineering solutions for trucks. According to Ingersoll Rand, the acquisition will strengthen the company’s presence in the dry and liquid bulk market by providing energy-efficient and innovative solutions.

APSCO will become part of the industrial technology and services (IT&S) segment.

Blouse

Blutek logoHeadquartered in Italy, Blutek specializes in the design and development of technical solutions for compressed air and nitrogen in critical environments. The company is a supplier to engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) companies.

Ingersoll Rand said Blutek will enhance the company’s competitiveness in high-demand projects by adding technological capabilities, expertise and aftermarket potential in sectors such as biogas and carbon technology.

Blotek will be integrated with the IT&S segment.

UT pumps

UT pumps logoThe Indian company UT Pumps produces screw pumps and triple pumps. This acquisition will add new pump technology to Ingersoll Rand’s offering.

UT Pumps will join the precision and scientific technologies (P&ST) segment.
