So as we look to the next few years, we anticipate continued advancements in cryptographic research as new algorithms emerge and existing standards continue to improve.

However, we also realize that the VPN industry will not transform overnight. The adoption of quantum-resistant encryption will be a gradual process, evolving as the necessary supporting software and infrastructure evolves. While quantum-resistant cryptography will undoubtedly play a key role in the future of digital security over the next five years, we expect this transition to be characterized by gradual progress rather than dramatic changes.
