Former NFL Player Terrelle Pryor Sues NCAA Over Publicity Rights

Former NFL player and Ohio State University football quarterback Terrelle Pryor sued the NCAA on Friday, alleging the organization deprived him and other athletes of capitalizing on their publicity rights.

Pryor, a quarterback starting for the Buckeyes from 2008 to 2010 who led the team to two Big Ten Championships, alleges the NCAA conspired with Ohio State to lower compensation for those rights and his name, image, and likeness in violation of Section 1 of the Sherman Act, according to a proposed class action complaint filed in the US District Court for the Southern District of Ohio.
