MEW warns about power outages when maintenance work begins

KUwait, October 5: The Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy announced that maintenance work at several secondary transformer stations in six provinces will begin today, Saturday. This work is expected to last until October 12 and will cause power outages in various areas in accordance with the maintenance schedule.

In a statement posted on its official account on the (X) platform, the ministry indicated that the maintenance work would start at 8 a.m. and is expected to last four hours, with this time varying depending on the nature and conditions of the work. The Ministry thanked customers for their understanding and cooperation during the downtime.

The ministry also urged everyone to refer to the maintenance schedule for details on the affected areas.

Saturday, October 5:

Qibla Block 1; Al Adan Block 3; Taima Block 7; Khaitan Block 6; Block 1 in North Farwaniya; East Hawalli Block 11 and Al Siddiq Block 1

Sunday, October 6:
