Tired of app review pop-ups on your iPhone or iPad? Here’s how to turn them off

Rating and reviewing apps downloaded to your iPhone or iPad can provide valuable feedback to developers, help (or hurt) your overall rankings, and give insight to others who may want to download the app. The problem is that if they really don’t like or dislike an app, most people are less likely to review it.

As such, it’s not uncommon to get a pop-up notification when you download an app from the App Store, but sometimes it may appear a little too often for your liking.

You can rate and review the app in hopes that the pop-ups will stop appearing, or you can follow along and turn off those annoying “rate my app” notifications altogether. If you didn’t know you could do this, now you do, and we’ll show you how below.

How to disable iOS app review pop-ups

The process is simple: in the Settings app, go to App Store and turn off Ratings and reviews in the app.

Yes, that’s all. Once you disable this feature, you will no longer receive pop-ups asking you to rate and review any app you use.

You can still leave a review in the App Store, you just won’t bother with an app that does it.
