Infinix Zero Flip India launch date set for October 17: expected specifications and features

Infinix Zero Flip will launch in India soon. The company’s first foldable clamshell phone was launched in global markets last month and will debut in the country by mid-October, the Transsion-owned company confirmed. The Infinix Zero Flip is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8020 chipset and has a 6.9-inch internal screen and a 3.64-inch display on the body. It also comes with a dual 50-megapixel external camera, with a third 50-megapixel camera housed in a cutout on the internal display.

According to the microsite on the company’s website, Infinix Zero Flip will be launched in India on October 17. The handset was launched globally in Blossom Glow and Rock Black color options, but we can only see the latter on the website. Other details such as price and availability are likely to be revealed in the days before its debut in the country.

Infinix Zero Flip Specifications (Expected)

The Infinix Zero Flip is expected to come with the same specifications as the model launched in global markets last month. This means it will likely be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 8020 chipset, paired with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 512GB of onboard storage. It is expected to run on Android 14-based XOS 14.

Inside the Infinix Zero Flip there is a 6.9-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, while the 3.64-inch AMOLED display on the body also refreshes at 120Hz.

For photos and videos, Zero Flip has a 50-megapixel main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera – they are located on the display on the housing. There is a 50-megapixel camera on the internal display, and you can record 4K videos using the internal and external cameras. According to the company, the phone also offers GoPro integration.

Infinix Zero Flip has two stereo speakers tuned by JBL. The company says it will receive two OS updates (up to Android 16). It contains a 4,720 mAh battery that can be charged at 70 W using the included charging adapter.
