In the film, Will Smith and Martin Lawrence return to roles they first took on almost thirty years ago. As Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnett, they once again take to the streets of Miami to foil a dangerous criminal conspiracy – this time aimed at clearing the name of a deceased police captain.

It is directed by Adil El Arbi, who also directed “2020.” Bad boys for lifealthough the director of the original and its first sequel is Michael Bay, who actually makes a cameo appearance in the latest film, driving the car originally used by Smith.

Bad boys: ride or die it did well with critics before its theatrical release, but it really gained popularity with fans. It currently has a 97% Popcornmeter score on Rotten Tomatoes – the newly named audience rating.
