Raipur: the return of the monsoon brought precipitation to parts of Chhattisgarhwhich led the weather service to issue a yellow alert for the Bastar division.
Light rain and possible thunderstorms are expected in these areas over the next two days. Precipitation across the state is expected to decrease, leading to clearer skies and warmer days.
Districts including Bastar, Kondagaon, Dantewada, Sukma, Kanker, Bijapur, Narayanpur, Mohla-Manpur, Balod, Gariyaband, Dhamtari are expected to experience rains while in Raipur, Mahasamund, Rajnandgaon areas, there would be isolated rains.
Meteorologists reported that over the next 2-3 days, the southwest monsoon is expected to retreat from other areas of Gujarat, MP & UP.
