India and Zimbabwe are exploring ways to strengthen ties in several sectors

During the third meeting of the India-Zimbabwe Joint Trade Committee (JTC) in New Delhi, representatives of both countries discussed signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to finalize appropriate arrangements, India’s Ministry of Commerce and Industry said.

The source indicated that participants also identified several areas of interest requiring closer bilateral cooperation.

They identified pharmaceuticals, space, medical services, mechanical and electrical machines, vehicles, and fuels and mineral oils as potential areas.

In addition to steel, agriculture, food processing, engineering, renewable energy, digital economy, textiles, human resources and other sectors.

India’s Ministry of Commerce and Industry said the talks took place in a cordial and friendly atmosphere and were enthusiastically welcomed for further cooperation in reviewing outstanding issues, promoting trade and investment and strengthening people-to-people ties.
