Mutual Group announces two nominations to the Management Board

WEST DES MOINES, IOWA, May 22, 2024 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — TMG Insurance Services, LLC (“The Mutual Group”) has appointed David Charlton and Kurt Bock to its Board of Directors. The two new members bring knowledge and perspectives spanning both the mutual and general insurance industries, as well as insurance expertise and acumen.

Charlton brings with him extensive insurance industry experience and leadership expertise, including CEO and Director at Global Indemnity Group, President and Executive Vice President at ACE Insurance Company, and Executive Vice President and Chief Underwriting Officer at USLI. His knowledge includes building businesses, teams, products and automation, as well as creating and implementing innovative ideas for insurance companies.

Bock is an experienced executive and former CEO of Country Financial, a multi-industry insurance and financial services company. He is currently an adjunct professor at Queens University at Charlotte and a core faculty member of the National Association of Mutual Insurance Companies’ Director’s Bootcamp. Additionally, his significant executive leadership experience includes roles in financial services, insurance, membership associations, and manufacturing/distribution companies. Prior to his leadership positions in the insurance industry, Bock served in the United States Air Force for 28 years, retiring as a colonel.
