Swedish electric vehicle manufacturer Polestar confirms the delay in its first quarter earnings report

(Reuters) – Swedish electric vehicle maker Polestar will not release first-quarter results on May 23, a spokesman confirmed in an email to Reuters on Wednesday.

The company will first have to file its annual report for the year ending December 2023, which it intends to do “as soon as possible,” it said last week.

The delay is partly due to Polestar needing more time to finalize its financial statements due to accounting errors in 2021 and 2022, which will be corrected in the 2023 report.

Nasdaq, the U.S. stock exchange where Polestar shares are listed, last week warned the company of a potential delisting.
