Randolph Bell joins JERA Americas as vice president of government affairs, regulatory affairs

JERA Americas Inc., according to a May 22 press release. Houston-based subsidiary of Japan’s JERA Co., announced that Randolph Bell will join the company as vice president of government and regulatory affairs.

Bell will lead JERA Americas’ government engagement teams at the local, state and federal levels, focusing on energy markets. He will be tasked with leading and coordinating policies to advance JERA America’s sustainability goals.

Bell has expertise in global energy security and experience in government affairs, international relations and strategic leadership.

According to the release, he most recently served as an associate partner at Denton Global Advisors, where he was responsible for client engagement in U.S. and international politics.

Bell also served on the Atlantic Council as senior director of the Global Energy Center and as the Richard Morningstar Chair on Global Energy Security.
