SingPost and QazPost partners for the development of e-commerce and logistics

Singapore Post has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Kazakhstan’s national postal operator, QazPost, to boost e-commerce and logistics in both countries.

Strategic cooperation includes:

  • Technology collaboration – QazPost and SingPost will explore the use of the latter’s machinery and equipment, including e-commerce delivery systems, to improve customer experience and efficiency;
  • Enhanced development of logistics and e-commerce – searching for effective logistics routes between Kazakhstan and Singapore, using the extensive networks of both companies to support the development of e-commerce;
  • Sharing best practices – The partnership will facilitate the mutual exchange of best practices and create new opportunities for trade and economic growth.

“We are excited to partner with QazPost to jointly explore opportunities to better collaborate and improve our postal and logistics sectors. Through our cooperation, we hope to enhance our e-commerce network and unlock new opportunities for both countries,” said Li Yu, General Manager International, SingPost.

The agreement also includes provisions on knowledge exchange, training programs and the search for additional areas of cooperation in the future.
