The numbers show the surprisingly long lifespan of old iPads, with 67% of owners keeping or donating their old devices

Have you recently upgraded to a brand new one iPad Pro Or iPad Air? According to the latest data, you probably haven’t decided to replace the old one.

As published by CIRP (Consumer Intelligence Research Partners): “In the twelve months ending March 2024, 67% of people who repurchased an iPad kept their old iPad.” According to statistics, 31% of iPad owners decided to give it as a gift to family/friends, and 36% decided to keep it. They make up the rest of the group: 23% have lost their iPad or had it stolen/broken, 6% have decided to sell it, and just 3% have decided to replace it.
