The Vivo S19 series will be officially launched on May 30 with the Vivo Watch GT in China. Reservations open

Vivo has officially announced the launch date of its much-awaited Vivo S19 smartphone series on May 30 in China. Along with this series, the company will also introduce Vivo Watch GT to the Chinese market.

Bookings have already started in China, giving buyers the chance to win exclusive gifts. As stated on the dedicated series website, Vivo S19 and S19 Pro smartphones will be available in Misty Blue, Pine Smoke, Peach Blossom Fan, Qianshan Green and Sword Shadow Gray color versions. The video teaser released by the company to showcase the project confirms the presence of Aura light and a main camera with OIS support.

Both smartphones are confirmed to come with a 50MP selfie camera. Vivo has also confirmed the presence of a 6,000 mAh battery in the Vivo S19. The rest of the official information about the series remains a secret.

The processor of both phones has already been confirmed on Geekbench. According to the list, the Vivo S19 smartphone will be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor, and the Vivo S19 Pro smartphone will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ processor. Both smartphones will have 16 GB of RAM and will run Android 14 right out of the box. A few days ago, a smartphone poster was leaked, revealing the camera specifications. As per the poster, the Vivo S19 smartphone may come with a dual camera setup at the back that includes a 50MP primary sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera. The Vivo S19 Pro smartphone may feature a triple rear camera setup with a 50MP Sony IMX921 sensor and OIS support. It can be supplemented with a 50 MP telephoto lens with a Sony IMX816 sensor with OIS support and 50x zoom capability, and an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle sensor.
