Live Nation predicts the Justice Department will ‘lose’ antitrust suit, sparking legal debate

As court watchers see a strong case, though not without many obstacles, for cutting off Live Nation’s ticketing division and say the U.S. Department of Justice may be prevailing in the court of public opinion, Live Nation anticipates an antitrust lawsuit seeking to cut off Live Nation’s ticketing division will be the founder.

Live Nation, in its corporate filings, called the federal monopoly allegations filed Thursday in federal court in Manhattan “without merit.”
