One UI 6.1 will be rolled out to Galaxy A52 and other devices in the US

Samsung’s development team has been busy lately. In addition to regular monthly security patches, the company is rolling out the One UI 6.1 update to eligible Galaxy devices. As more devices receive the May patch, the new version of One UI will expand to more models. It recently landed on the Galaxy A52, Galaxy Xcover 6 Pro, Galaxy A15 5G, Galaxy A14 5G, Galaxy F54, and Galaxy M53.

Galaxy A52 and other devices will receive the Samsung One UI 6.1 update

At the time of writing, Samsung is rolling out the One UI 6.1 update for the Galaxy A52 in the US. The update is available for carrier locked and unlocked devices with firmware build numbers A526USQUCGXE1 AND A526U1UEUCGXE1appropriately. Like other mid-range models, the device does not have any AI features. However, One UI 6.1 brings other new features and improvements.

Galaxy Xcover 6 Pro is getting the same update in Europe. The new build number of this rugged Android smartphone from Samsung is G736BXXU5EXD5. It has a similar changelog to the A-series mid-range Ranger, so don’t expect AI features. The same goes for the Galaxy A15 5G, which is currently getting One UI 6.1 in the US. Its build numbers are A156USQU1BXDA AND A156U1UEU1BXDB.

The One UI 6.1 update for its predecessor, the Galaxy A14 5G, is now widely available in most global markets. The budget phone downloads the firmware version A146PXXU7DXD3 with several new features and improvements. The Galaxy F54, which had a limited launch in India and some neighboring countries, will get these features along with the build number E546BXXU4CXDC.

Finally, One UI 6.1 is now available for the Galaxy M53, another limited release phone, although not as limited as the F-series model. The updated firmware version number for the device is: M536BXXU5EXD3. If you are using any Galaxy device, the latest feature update should be available soon. However, users in some regions may wait longer than others.

All of these devices will receive the April security patch

We may soon be entering the last week of May, but Samsung hasn’t included this month’s One UI 6.1 security patch for any of these devices. All remain in the April patch. Since most budget and mid-range devices do not receive monthly security updates, the company may skip the latest version for them. It may release a newer security patch later. You can always check for new updates in the Settings app.
