Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif invites a Chinese company to invest in Pakistan’s mining sector | India is flourishing

Inviting Beijing to make further investments, Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif asked the Chinese company MCC Tongsin Resources to invest in the country’s mining sector.

The mining and minerals sectors have been included in the priority list of the Special Investment Facilitation Board and significant progress has also been achieved in this sector, ARY News reports.

According to the newspaper, the Chinese company MCC Tongsin Resources is a research and investment company that is part of the Metallurgical Group Corporation, which has been included on the list of the largest metallurgical construction contractors in the world.

The Chinese company had earlier expressed interest in increasing its investments in Pakistan’s mining and minerals sectors.

The Chinese company’s visit to Pakistan aims to cement ties between China and Pakistan and ensure that Pakistan ensures the safety of Chinese nationals working on various development projects, ARY News reports.

China has reportedly invested sixty-five billion dollars in energy and infrastructure projects in Pakistan under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor.
