Marcos reappoints Cacdac as head of the DMW

MANILA, Philippines – President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has reappointed Hans Leo Cacdac as interim secretary of the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW), days after the Commission on Appointments (DA) deferred his confirmation, Malacañang said on Saturday.

Cacdac, appointed by the president in April, was “bypassed” by the powerful commission due to lack of material time.
