In an interview with The New York Times, Gwyneth Paltrow said she tried apitherapy, which means being stung by bees. By choice. He admits it’s painful.

We love Paltrow and are huge fans of her new skincare line and her website (her recipes are spot on, for starters), but anything that a bee stings (except the lips) doesn’t sound very appealing. Instead, we have several skin care treatments and devices that also get the job done – with minimal discomfort. (And if you want to add even more humor, check out our interview with style guru Isaac Mizrahi above).

NuFace Trinity aims to improve skin tone, reduce wrinkles and give you a more radiant appearance.

Every makeup artist uses a Clarisonic, and we’re fans of Mia Fit, a lightweight and waterproof invention for on-the-go skin gurus. Liev Schreiber and Naomi Watts are fans of the original brush.

Foreo Luna is adorable. Additionally, it reduces pore size, minimizes fine lines and exfoliates the face. Sold.

Illumage is the first FDA-approved laser for home use that will make your face look much smoother.

The SK-II Skin Signature 3D Redefining mask is perfection. And we really mean perfection. Cate Blanchett (and tons of other stars) love these songs that refresh your face like crazy.

The Lancôme Génifique Youth activating second skin mask is designed for people on the move. One application delivers half a bottle of Génifique Serum in one application.

The CLINIQUE Sonic System Purifying Cleansing Brush brings the finesse of skin care straight to your bathroom. It is efficient and very effective.

And a few other spring makeup ideas.
