Kris Knoblauch shares an update on Adam Henrique ahead of game two.

The Edmonton Oilers scored a huge win in Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals and will look to continue that momentum tonight in Game 2 against the Dallas Stars.

Many questions remain as to who will be on the ice for both teams tonight, but we got a small taste of what could be in store for the Oilers today as head coach Kris Knoblauch addressed the media

Since Game 2 of the second-round series against the Vancouver Canucks, the Oilers have been without the services of veteran forward Adam Henrique, who was one of the team’s deadline day acquisitions, but that looks to be changing soon. While Knoblauch did not confirm that Henrique would play tonight, he did confirm that Henrique would be on the ice for warmups before Game 2, where a game-time decision would be made.

While Henrique hasn’t contributed much offensively for the Oilers, with 1 goal and 1 assist in his 6 playoff games in 2024, Knoblauch leaned on his experience with Henrique, who has already logged over 17 minutes of ice time in multiple games . His return would significantly strengthen the Oilers lineup, although we probably won’t know for sure until puck drop.
