DDC Reasi recommends strict enforcement of building regulations

REASI, May 26: Reasi District Development Commissioner Vishesh Mahajan today convened a meeting to review the operational efficiency of Katra and Reasi municipalities.

Executive officials from both municipalities presented detailed reports covering administrative and operational issues.

Discussions focused on staffing adequacy, revenue generation strategies and progress on ongoing projects. Plans for the upcoming financial year were also discussed.

The DDC has issued detailed guidelines emphasizing the identification and initiation of public interest projects, maintaining and improving sanitation standards, strict enforcement of building codes and proactive removal of violations.

ADDC Sukhdev Singh Samyal, Director Planning Narinder Kumar, EO KDA Gopal Singh and EO Reasi and Katra municipal committees were also present.
