Neste expands its SAF supply capabilities in Europe

This is a significant step in increasing the availability of Neste sustainable aviation fuel to customers across Europe. This is part of Neste’s ongoing expansion of its global SAF production and supply capabilities, which includes SAF production at the Neste refinery in Singapore and modifications to the Neste refinery in Rotterdam to bring SAF production close to completion.

The terminal is located in one of the largest fuel logistics hubs in Europe, with access to wider European fuel infrastructure such as the Central European Pipeline System (CEPS), which will enable more sustainable and efficient fuel deliveries to customers and airports across Europe.

“Neste is fully committed to helping the aviation industry reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and sustainable aviation fuel is a key lever to achieve this goal. This expansion of our delivery capabilities enables our customers to accelerate the use of SAF at European airports and provides a strong foundation for meeting the requirements of the ReFuelEU aviation regulation, which requires the delivery of a minimum proportion of SAF to European airports from 2025.
