“I left my heart in Lisbon” as the Eras tour continues

Taylor Swift left the building. In Portugal, anyway – but it looks like the European country and its capital have made their mark on the record-breaking star.

After wrapping up her second and final concert on Sunday night, Swift posted a heartfelt note of thanks to Lisbon and her audience on Instagram, writing:

More from Deadline

“It’s official, I left my (heart) in Lisbon. My first time in Portugal and you all made me feel at home.

“I will truly never forget the way you treated us, the overwhelming love and passion, hands up and dancing, and the way you screamed every lyric!! Muito obrigada.”

In turn, in a video on X (formerly Twitter), Taylor referred to her previous musical eras, naming her albums Red, Fearless and Speak Now, with which she toured around the world:

“We made a lot of fun memories on these trips… but one thing I wish I had done differently is that I couldn’t bring each of these trips to meet you in Lisbon.

“I must admit that I have never seen such a crowd in my life. There have already been moments on this show where I enjoyed it and forgot what to do next or what to say because I’m just distracted by how much fun you’re having and how you’re doing with the audience. I love it.”

But before her Portuguese fans think they’re too special, they might want to read Swift’s equally enthusiastic tribute to Swden after her tour there last week.

“‘Stockholm!!!! Thank you for being the most generous, exciting, magical crowd and for breaking the all-time stadium attendance record for all 3 nights.

“I can’t believe this was our first show in Sweden – but it definitely won’t be the last…”

Swift will now embark on a record-breaking tour to Madrid and then Lyon, France this week, before arriving in the UK on June 7.
