OMC acquires James Roche Consulting Engineers

OMC Group has finalized the acquisition of James Roche Consulting Engineers.

Founded in 2012 as Enda O’Malley and Associates, in 2023 the company changed its name to OMC.

They say they plan to add two additional acquisitions in 2024, and the company’s expansion efforts are expected to create 20 new jobs nationwide.

OMC completed its first acquisition in late 2022, including O’Halloran Engineering.

They have an in-house team of 18 specialists whose core activities include a diverse range of residential and commercial projects, providing services in the areas of planning consultancy, environmental consultancy, structural design, construction surveying, site mapping, assigned certification, fire and disability consultancy, mechanical and electrical consultancy, consultancy energy, health and safety consulting.

OMC has offices in Clifden, Galway City and Dublin, overseeing projects throughout Ireland.

James Roche Consulting Engineers has been operating in Galway since the 1970s.
