The FP790 uses water-based primers and ink technologies that comply with regulatory standards for flexible packaging printing. In particular, it eliminates the need for additional capital investment in processes such as lamination, slitting and bag production. Offering a maximum substrate width of 31 inches (790 mm) and an impressive print line speed of 164 f/min (50 m), the FP790 supports short, medium and strategic print runs. Quickly switching between print jobs and design adjustments significantly increases overall production efficiency. Utilizing 1200 x 1200 dpi resolution with CMYK inks, the FP790 achieves over 90% of the Pantone color gamut. Additionally, it has two ink channels that provide high white opacity, allowing converters to seamlessly match special brands and spot colors.
