Honor introduces another series of Honor 200 Series numbers to the Chinese market with an AI sleep-assist display

Honor has finally launched the Honor 200 series in its home country, China. This series includes the vanilla variant of Honor 200 and the Pro variant of Honor 200 Pro. Below I will provide all the specifications and prices of both smartphones.

Honor 200 specifications

Starting with the base version, it comes with a 6.7-inch FHD+ curved OLED screen with a resolution of 2664 x 1200 pixels, 4000 nits maximum brightness, 120 Hz refresh rate, Delta E≈0.27 color accuracy and cinematic DCI-P3 wide gamut colors. Honor has also added eye care technology to this smartphone, which includes 3840Hz ultra-high frequency PWM dimming, eye care mode, AI Sleep Aid display, Natural Color Display 2.0, 360-degree front and rear adaptive dimming, and natural light eye protection. Honor claims that this new AI Sleep Aid display will detect whether you’re feeling drowsy and help you fall asleep by removing blue light and increasing melatonin levels in your body.

Under the hood, the smartphone is equipped with Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC coupled with Adreno 720 GPU and will run on Android 14-based MagicOS 8.0. For heat dissipation, this smartphone offers Global Cooling System 2.0 which includes an extra-large steel surface VC of 5029 mm², heat dissipation area up to 34696 mm² and a thickness of only 0.3 mm. With MagicOS 8.0, you’ll get features like Honor Anywhere Door, Smart Capsule, three-finger swipe-down screen capture, Breath Awakening 2.0, and a personalized lock screen.

The rear camera setup includes a 50MP main wide-angle camera with OIS, a 50MP OIS telephoto camera, and a 12MP ultra-wide camera with autofocus, anti-shake mode, and LED flash. The front camera comes with a 50MP wide-angle selfie camera and supports 2D facial recognition.

The smartphone is equipped with a 5200 mAh battery and supports fast, wired charging with a power of 100 W. Honor claims that you can reach a 57% charge level in just 15 minutes. Additionally, AI technology will detect your charging habits and adjust charging protection accordingly.

In terms of connectivity, it supports WLAN 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax, Bluetooth 5.3, IR remote control and NFC protocols. The sound system is equipped with stereo speakers with Histen 7.1 sound effects.

The smartphone weighs 187 g with the battery and its dimensions are 161.5 mm in length, 74.6 mm in width and 7.7 mm in thickness.

Honor 200 Pro specifications

All specifications are the same as the base version, except for the processor and camera optics. The Honor 200 Pro is powered by the latest Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor paired with Adreno 735 GPU.

The rear camera setup includes a 50MP OIS wide camera with f/1.9 aperture, a 50MP OIS telephoto camera with f/2.4 aperture, and a 12MP OIS ultra-wide macro camera with autofocus and f/2.2 aperture. The front camera has a 50 MP wide lens with f/2.1 aperture and 3D depth support. Additionally, the Pro variant is slightly heavier and weighs 199 g compared to the vanilla variant.

Looking at our previous reports, all specifications presented in today’s launch are consistent with our previous information.

Price and availability

The Honor 200 was launched in four colors: Moon Shadow White, Coral Pink, Velvet Black and Sky Blue. It comes in four memory configurations:

  • 8GB + 256GB for 2,699 yuan
  • 12GB + 256GB for 2,999 yuan
  • 16GB + 256GB for 3,299 yuan
  • 12GB + 512GB for 2,999 yuan
  • 16GB + 512GB for 3,199 yuan

The Honor 200 Pro is available in the same color options: Sky Blue, Coral Pink, Moon Shadow White and Velvet Black. It is also available in four memory configurations:

  • 12GB + 256GB for 3,499 yuan
  • 12GB + 512GB for 3,799 yuan
  • 16GB + 512GB for 3,999 yuan
  • 16GB + 1TB for 4,499 yuan

Pre-sales have already started in China, and open sales will begin on May 31. For those outside China, the Honor 200 series will have a global launch on June 12.
