The fall launch of Clarizen puts work in context, delivering unparalleled productivity, accuracy and efficiency in the workplace

SAN MATEO, CA–(Marketwired – December 4, 2014) – Clarizen, the leader in enterprise collaboration software, today announced a new fall release that combines workplace productivity tools in one solution to provide unparalleled insight and work context . Inspired by customer requests, the award-winning Clarizen v6 platform now delivers new improvements in customization, configuration, visualization and digital checking to deliver a modern, real-time, efficient workplace.

“In today’s workplace, priorities, projects and action items can change at any time. Today’s employee needs easy, comprehensive access to mission-critical information and one place to get their work done,” said Rachel Haim Hadas, Clarizen’s vice president of product. “We enable employees to customize and configure how they visualize and access everyday work information and project data. This increased customization translates into greater employee productivity, greater project visibility, and ultimately, quality of work.”

Announced last year, Clarizen v6 combines true social engagement with efficient project management to redefine collaboration in the enterprise. Clarizen realizes its vision of the work graph – organically connecting social context, tasks and projects on a single cloud-based platform – to enable collaboration that drives results.

Key features of the Fall release include:

  • Clarizen panels: Users now have a new way to visualize any data – via a dashboard or page – both internal and external to Clarizen. Users can create any Clarizen view or custom page at the organization level, just like with any other module in Clarizen. As a platform from which users can access all their mission-critical work, Clarizen allows users to create dashboards showing KPIs for portfolios and projects, or access external charting tools to create and share project-related charts.

  • Clarizen’s house: This single page brings together all of your daily work items, issues, and relevant conversations in one easy-to-read, easy-to-access single view. Clarizen Home also provides quick access to common activities, recent and new items. Users can customize the page to display specific fields and data. The page is accessible from the main navigation and can be set as the Clarizen user’s default landing page.

  • Optimized digital printing in Clarizen: Clarizen’s new partnership/integration with ProofHQ enables users to inspect any digital file, from a simple text document to commercial videos and Flash applications, in full context with Clarizen workflows, projects and tasks. Employees can now create and manage new proofs for any uploaded file in Clarizen. The result: a streamlined and simplified design asset review and approval process.

  • Box-Clarizen integration improvements: Expanded Clarizen and Box integration makes collaborating on Box content even easier. Box users can now seamlessly connect and browse their Box work files and folders from within Clarizen. Employees can also easily create new folders and upload new files to Box directly from Clarizen, connecting them to tasks, work items and projects. Users can also automatically create folders and attach all template files related to a project to share with project stakeholders. Work chart
The way most companies operate is broken. We first build working groups and then engage in conversations that can become actions, and ideally, those actions become outcomes. Each of them typically lives on separate “islands” of activity, managed by different systems. Clarizen differs in that it combines these islands into a “work chart” that is created organically as a result of performing work. The work graph enables collaboration that translates into results, turning any organization into a high-performing organization.
