Navman MiVue M820D is a car camera designed for motorcycles

We know that Navman produces dash cameras for cars, but now they have released the new Navman MiVue M820D model, which is equipped with industry-leading features for motorcyclists that protect them both when riding and when parking on the side of the road.

Dash cams are the perfect solution so you can prove your side of the story, and motorcyclists were unfairly blamed for accidents but were unable to defend themselves without video footage.

With the MiVue M820D car camera, everything changes.

It has discreet front and rear cameras that record your journey in Full HD 1080P resolution at 60 frames per second.

The video is recorded in Super MP4 format, which saves the file every two seconds to reduce the risk of corruption.

Under the hood are top-of-the-range Sony Starvis sensors front and rear, which provide even more detail in all lighting versions, as well as providing excellent contrast and rich and accurate colors.

The front and rear cameras have a 140-degree field of view.

It also has a built-in GPS module and a 3-axis G sensor, and the footage is tagged with the exact location, speed and direction of travel.

Recordings can be accessed and downloaded from the dashboard that comes with the MiVue Pro app.

For the first time ever, MiVue M820D allows riders to protect their parked bikes by introducing Park Mode.

This feature can detect movement from the front and rear, and any movement that hits the bike triggers a series of recordings that will allow riders to provide evidence to their insurer and pursue the person who damaged their bike.

The M820D also offers premium alerts and informs you when you are approaching fixed speed cameras, red light cameras and school zones.

Cyclists can also use the time-lapse video feature to condense their best long rides into short clips that can be shared using both the front and rear weather-resistant cameras.

The video material is saved on the included 64 GB micro SD card.

MiVue M820D is easy to install and can be permanently mounted or connected to your bike, so you never have to unplug it even for charging.

MiVue M820D is available now and costs $549.
