UoP launches CPD course to address skills gap in space sector

Hugh Lewis, Professor of Astronautics at the University of Southampton, said: “It is a real honor to be able to work with our colleagues in the South Central region to support the career development of space professionals and guide them through the complex process and ever-evolving landscape of space and space data .

“This data is essential to understanding our planet and the health of the satellites that perform essential functions for our communities. We can build on over 60 years of education and training across space programs and short courses offered by the University of Southampton to ensure this new training program delivers the skills you need in an effective and enjoyable way.”

The course is funded by the British Space Agency Training Programs Fund.
