The Galaxy Z Fold 5 offers some improvements over the Fold 4. A lighter device than its predecessors, the Fold 5’s new hinge design now allows for a flat opening and eliminates the small gap where dirt and debris could enter on previous Fold models. While it is still bulky when folded, it actually is slightly thinner than the Fold 4. Moreover, its display brightness has been increased to a peak of 1,750 nits. The Snapdragon Gen2 chip should deliver a solid performance boost, making apps and multitasking run more smoothly.

Up to $600 in trade-in value, free storage expansion and $50 off with our special link.

Orders start at $349.99

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip series smartphones always folded in half when closed, like an old-school flip phone. But they have never opened completely flat – until now. This update brings the device closer to a Galaxy S23-like experience. The biggest screen improvement, however, is the 3.4-inch external display. It’s larger than the Flip 4 and offers much more functionality when the phone is closed. There’s now a full virtual keyboard for replying to messages and the ability to run Android apps on an external display.

The Flip 5 runs on the Snapdragon 8 Gen2 chip, which debuted in the Galaxy S23 series (and can also be found in the new Fold 5 announced on Unpacked). The screen is also much brighter than the Flip 4 (Samsung states that the maximum brightness of the Flip 5 outdoors is 1,600 nits), which makes it easier to use the phone in direct sunlight. Add twice the memory of the Flip 4, and the Galaxy Z Flip 5 promises to be a significant improvement over its predecessors.

Let’s get this out of the way: Galaxy Watch 6 Classic brings back the bezel! This is great news because the smartwatch bezel wasn’t just a feature that made the Galaxy Watch stand out from the competition. It was also an integral part of device navigation, which many users loved. The Classic model is available in 43mm and 47mm sizes, which may not be ideal for smaller wrists.

For those whose skinny arms would make wearing the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic look like a horological version of a toddler walking around in a grown-up pair of shoes, there’s the Galaxy Watch 6. It’s slightly smaller than the Classic; it can be found in 40mm and 44mm holders. Whichever smartwatch you choose, it will have a scratch-resistant sapphire glass dial and a lightweight aluminum casing. As usual, Samsung’s wrist candy comes packed with tricks: heart rate monitoring, emergency SOS calls, and sleep tracking.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S9

Orders start at $99.99

Samsung does not make drastic changes to the Galaxy Tab lineup from year to year. Instead, like Apple, they prefer to work towards the perfection of their tablets in small steps. That said, whether you’re considering upgrading several generations of hardware or looking to buy your first Samsung Galaxy Tab, this is a great year to do so.

All three tablets from the Galaxy Tab S9 family – Galaxy Tab S9, Tab S9 Plus and Tab S9 Ultra (with screens of 14.6, 12.4 and 11 inches, respectively) – will be equipped with OLED displays. That means long battery life, vivid colors and deep, rich blacks, whether you’re working on a document, streaming a movie, or playing a mobile game like Diablo Immortal. In addition, each of them will have a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip under the hood, so any task you give the Galaxy Tab S9 will be solved in the blink of an eye. Finally, and this is important, each of the tablets in the Tab S9 line is IP68 rated for water and dust resistance. This will ensure your investment is well protected from the elements (and your coffee) no matter where you choose to use it.
