Senop will develop next-generation night vision devices for the Finnish army

Senop Oy will develop new night vision goggles for the Finnish Defense Forces.

The letter of intent concerns three devices: new generation night vision goggles, tactical thermal imaging binoculars and a new generation multifunctional fire control system.

The goggles will be based on M20 technology, featuring improved ergonomics and a new helmet mount, while the binoculars will be based on indigenous uncooled thermal camera technology.

Finally, the fire control system based on smart sight technology will be compatible with multiple weapon systems such as support and anti-tank weapons.
