Sleepwell and Kurlon are implementing Unicommerce to streamline their e-commerce operations

Mattress giants Sleepwell and Kurlon have adopted Unicommerce, an e-commerce SaaS platform, to streamline their e-commerce operations. The registration highlights the growing importance of online shopping for sleep products such as mattresses, bedding, pillows and pillows, etc. As such, both Sleepwell and Kurlon are focusing on expanding their e-commerce businesses.

The e-commerce mattress industry faces its own challenges such as managing custom sales orders, issues with mixed-size packaging, lack of standardization, etc. Unicommerce’s SaaS platform will enable brands to fulfill orders for custom-sized mattresses, centralize fulfillment from across multiple locations using traceability at the item and SKU level, leading to error-free, more accurate and faster order processing. The system will also enable them to handle return orders, thereby improving the shopping experience of end consumers. Currently, each brand completes an average of 4,000 orders per month using the Unicommerce platform.

Sheela Foam, the parent company of Sleepwell, also recently acquired Kurlon. Both brands have implemented Unicommerce’s omnichannel order management system to automate order processing across their brand’s website and multiple marketplaces. Additionally, Kurlon uses Unicommerce’s warehouse and inventory management system for all warehouse operational processes, including picking, packing and shipping, giving the brand a clear view of available inventory across locations.

Highlighting the growing importance of e-commerce, Nilesh Mazumdar, CEO, Sheela Foam, said: “E-commerce has become central to brands like Sleepwell and Kurlon. Our partnership with Unicommerce will enhance our e-commerce operations, leading to improved efficiency of our e-commerce supply chain.
