Honor 200 5G series banner on Amazon official website; An Indian launch seems imminent

Smartphone brand Honor recently introduced the latest Honor 200 5G series in the Chinese market, and the series is expected to be launched in global markets on February 12vol June. Recently, HTech CEO Madhav Sheth also teased the arrival of this all-new series in the Indian market.

The earlier Honor Magic 6 Pro was recently spotted at an Amazon auction, which suggested that the device would debut in India soon, but no final release date was given for the smartphone. It looks like the Honor 200 5G series will most likely be the first to break the cover as now an Amazon banner showing the Honor 200 5G series has appeared.

The banner states that the series will be available “soon” in India and will be available with AI features. In the coming days, the company may soon reveal the launch date of this upcoming smartphone series.

It features a 6.7-inch FHD+ curved OLED display offering a resolution of 2,664 x 1,200 pixels, 4,000 nits maximum brightness, 120 Hz refresh rate, Delta E≈0.27 color accuracy and DCI-P3 cinematic wide color gamut. Honor has also added eye care technology to this smartphone, which includes 3840Hz ultra-high frequency PWM dimming, eye care mode, AI Sleep Aid display, Natural Color Display 2.0, 360-degree front and rear adaptive dimming, and natural light eye protection. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC paired with Adreno 720 GPU and runs on Android 14-based MagicOS 8.0. The rear camera setup includes a 50MP primary wide-angle camera with OIS, a 50MP OIS telephoto camera, and an Ultra-wide-angle camera 12 MP with autofocus, anti-shake mode and LED flash. The front camera comes with a 50MP wide-angle selfie camera and supports 2D facial recognition. The smartphone is equipped with a 5200 mAh battery and supports fast, wired charging with a power of 100 W.

All specifications are the same as the base version, except for the processor and camera optics. The Honor 200 Pro is powered by the latest Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor paired with Adreno 735 GPU.

The rear camera setup includes a 50MP OIS wide camera with f/1.9 aperture, a 50MP OIS telephoto camera with f/2.4 aperture, and a 12MP OIS ultra-wide macro camera with autofocus and f/2.2 aperture. The front camera is equipped with a 50 MP wide lens with f/2.1 aperture and 3D depth support. Additionally, the Pro variant is slightly heavier and weighs 199 g compared to the vanilla variant.
