Challenging Star Darshan publishes CDP Rebel Star Ambareesh and remembers the actor-politician for his service

May 29 (Wednesday) marks the birth anniversary of one of the most famous actors of the Kannada film industry, Dr. Ambareesh. Fondly called “Rebel Star”, Ambareesh or Ambi was known for his flamboyant personality. Also politician Ambareesh, grandson of renowned violinist Piteelu Chowdaiah, was known for his work in films and public life.

Challenging sidereal darshan on this occasion, it published the Common Display Picture (CDP). Rebel Star Dr Ambaresh72nd birth anniversary.

Released by CDP, the video features the legendary Kannada actor and politician in a rebellious avatar and the late actor holds a gavel in an iconic posture. The photo also features some of the Rebel Star’s popular films, as he was known among his die-hard fans for portraying most of the “angry young man” characters on screen.

Movies like Antadirected by renowned director Rajendra Singh Babu, in which she starred alongside veteran actress Lakshmi, was one of the highlights of the actor’s acting career. Chakravyuhaincluding his debut venture as an actor Nagarahaavu, Paduvarahalli Pandavaru, Mrugayala, Yelu Suttina Kote, Ranganayaki, Hrudaya Haaditu, Bhari Bharjari Bete and Odahuttidavaru are some of his films that gained recognition.

The senior actress and Member of Parliament from Mandya Lok Sabha constituency and Ambareesh’s wife took to social media to remember the rebel star on his birth anniversary. She wrote: “The memory of you always makes me smile. Missing you is a pain that will always remain. You are part of our lives every day, every moment and forever. You are above life. You are life itself. All the best in heaven.”

Born in Mandya Malavalli district, Huchchegowda Amarnath was popularly known by his nickname Ambareesh.

He made his debut with the legendary director Puttana Kanagal Nagarahaavu in the role of antagonist, which happens to be his last film Munirathna Kurukshetra, a mythology published posthumously in which he played the role of Bhishma Pitamyha. Earlier, Amabareesh played the role of a stunt master in the lead role Ambi Ning Vayasseytho.
