Bouygues Telecom expects delay in acquisition of French MVNO La Poste Mobile

Bouygues Telecom has published an update on the progress of the acquisition of MVNO La Poste Telecom, belonging to the La Poste group with 51% shares and SFR with 49% shares. Following the press release of 22 February 2024 announcing the conclusion of an exclusivity agreement with the La Poste group, Bouygues Telecom now states that it has been informed by SFR and La Poste of the differences between them regarding the terms of the transaction.

This led to the need for La Poste to implement the dispute resolution mechanisms provided for in the contracts. According to Bouygues Telecom, volthis could cause delays in the transaction.
