Bournemouth are finalizing the permanent acquisition of Getafe striker Enes Unal

The 27-year-old, who signed a four-year contract, spent the second half of last season on loan at the Cherries, scoring twice in 16 Premier League appearances.

“I’m very happy to be returning to Bournemouth for the new season,” he told afcb.co.uk.

“I enjoyed testing my skills in the Premier League during my recovery and now I’m really excited about the years ahead.

“A project I wanted to take part in back in January, I really wanted to take part in this project and I think we have huge potential for further improvement together.”

Unal, who played briefly for Manchester City at the beginning of his career, made 33 appearances at international level and was named in Turkey’s provisional squad for Euro 2024.
