Disney releases trailer for ‘Moana 2’

According to Disney’s Wednesday announcement, “Moana 2” will hit theaters on November 27. Set three years after the original film, the story follows Moana and Maui as they embark on another sea adventure with an unlikely crew.

This time, Moana must travel to the distant seas of Oceania after she receives an unexpected call from her ancestors who are looking for a way. The journey is perilous, and Moana embarks on an adventure in long-lost waters unlike anything she has ever experienced before. Watch the trailer here:

Auli’i Cravalho and Dwayne Johnson reprized their roles as Moana and the demigod Maui. The stars posted information about the new trailer on social media.

“Moana 2” is directed by David Derrick Jr., Jason Hand and Dana Ledoux Miller and produced by Christina Chen and Yvett Merino. Featuring music by Grammy winners Abigail Barlow and Emily Bear, plus Grammy nominee Opetaia Foa’i and three-time Grammy winner Mark Mancina.
