Supercell’s Squad Busters is the most downloaded App Store app in 122 countries | Pocket Gamer.biz

According to Appfigures data shared exclusively with PocketGamer.biz, Supercell’s latest global app, Squad Busters, was the most downloaded app in the iOS App Store in 122 countries on its launch day.

The title was released worldwide yesterday, May 29, and its premiere took place only a month ago.

The countries where it topped the overall App Store rankings were the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, France, Japan, South Korea and Taiwan.

It ranked in the top ten overall App Store app download rankings in 147 countries.

Squad Busters also topped the ranking of most downloaded games in 156 countries and was the most installed action game in 160 countries. Meanwhile, in 171 countries it entered the top ten in the games category.

Revenue Rankings

In terms of revenue, Squad Busters took the top spot in the ranking of the highest-grossing games in four countries: Germany, France, Italy and Austria. She placed 2nd in Belgium, Croatia, the Netherlands, Switzerland and Spain.

It reached the top 10 grossing game categories in 48 countries and the top 10 action games in 96.

In terms of overall top-grossing app rankings, it was in the top 10 in 17 countries at launch.

Released on May 29, Squad Busters is Supercell’s highly anticipated sixth global launch. The developer’s last global launch was in December 2018 when Brawl Stars launched.

Prior to launch, Squad Busters had over 30 million pre-registrations.
