The Indian Air Force (IAF) has officially started accepting applications for the Air Force Joint Entrance Test (AFCAT) 2024 on May 30. Prospective candidates interested in appearing for this recruitment exam can complete the registration process by visiting the official websites: careerindianairforce.cdac.in and afcat.cdac.in. This test is a gateway for those aspiring to join the Indian Air Force in various capacities.

To apply for AFCAT, you need to follow a few steps. First, you must register and then complete the application form. Once you have done this, you will need to pay the required fee. Once you close the application window, you will still be able to make some changes. You can change details such as name, father’s name, photo, signature and thumbprint.

AFCAT Registrations 2024: Application fee

To apply for AFCAT 2024 exam, candidates have to pay a fee of Rs 550 plus GST. This fee is flat across all categories, regardless of whether you are male or female. Both genders can apply for AFCAT 2 2024 exam. It is to be noted that this fee is required for all applicants irrespective of category and gender.

Step 2: On the home page, click the button AFCAT 2024 Registration to combine.

Step 3: A new window will appear, enter your login details and submit.

Step 4: Continue filling out the application form and submit all necessary documents.

Step 5: Pay the application fee and submit

Step 6: Now download the confirmation page and get its hard copy for further use.

The AFCAT 2024 exam is aimed at selecting candidates for flying and ground operations, including technical and non-technical positions. A total of 317 vacancies are available. The examination will be held on August 9, 10 and 11, 2024. Candidates interested in joining the Flying Branch must be between 20 and 24 years of age, while those applying for ground duty positions, both technical and non-technical, should be between 20 to 26 years old.

Education requirements vary depending on the specific position, but a minimum of 60% graduation is essential. Make sure you meet these criteria if you want to join Indian Air Force through AFCAT 2024.
