Need some laughter? Apple releases three new funny Apple Card ads

Apple today released three new 30-second Apple Card ads. The card is only available in the US and can be applied for in the Wallet app. Open the app, tap the round circle with a plus sign in the top right corner of the screen, and you’ll see a menu with the heading “Add to Wallet.” One of the options is “Apply for an Apple Card.” With over 12 million customers, Apple Card has no fees, including late fees or annual fees. Apple Card users receive up to 3% cash back on purchases made with their card.

Each of the three ads has an Apple Card feature. For example, the first one shows how easy it is to pay by card. A married couple works outside the home when the wife asks her husband if he paid with his Apple Card as she asked. Although he answers in the affirmative, the voices in the background tell us otherwise. So the husband finds his iPhone and while the wife is distracted and the neighbor looks on, the husband quickly pays the bill. “Payments have become easy. Restart your credit card,” Apple says.

The next ad focuses on the Cash Back feature available on Apple Card. A guy is sitting in a chair, staring at the hole in one sock that exposes his big toe. He happens to be looking at his iPhone, which shows that he has received $5.87 in daily cash, adding to the total for the remaining days. So it does exactly what you would expect it to do. The collected cashback is used to buy socks online. “Get cash back every day,” says Apple, “Spend it instantly.” Let’s hope our hero throws away his religious sock (the one that is Holy).

The third and final ad in the Apple Card trilogy begins with the poor guy trying to fit his sweater even though it looks like it has shrunk several sizes in the dryer, exposing his belly. His wife looks at him and he looks at her. iPhone in hand, the wife uses the app’s search engine to find where the sweater was previously purchased and buys it again. “Quickly find your previous purchase in case you need to buy it again,” Apple advises.
